Below you'll find resources that I've found really helpful over the years. There are links to STUFF that make my life easier, BOOKS I feel are worth the money, STUDIES that have helped me understand my brain a bit better, and LINKS to other ADHDers who, I think really know their stuff!

STUFF

Lose track of time? Of course you do! It's called "Time Blindness" and us ADHDers definitely have it. This visual timer really helps! Whether it's when you're afraid to go into hyperfocus mode and lose hours on end or just want to know how long you've been working on something, it's an easy glance up to see how you're doing on your time. And if you're doing something tedious, it'll give you that little dopamine rush when you look up and see that you're amost out of time! How many times have you gotten in line at the grocery store and realized you forgot your bags in the car! Yeah, me too. These are GREAT because fold up tiny and fit in the bottom of your purse! So the next time you're about to shame yourself for forgetting those bags you'll yell "YES" when you remember they were with you the whole time! If you're like me, your nightly routine is anything but routine. I'm lucky to brush my teeth and fall into bed. These face cloths have saved my face! I seriously went years without properly washing my face at night. I'd just put moisturizer over my makeup and go to sleep. These cloths are MAGIC! You run them under warm water, squeeze them out and cup your face (I like to massage my eyeballs) and somehow WITHOUT SOAP they suck the make-up right off my face! No rinsing because you just used water. Now that I can handle even when I'm pooped! Get it here (https://amzn.to/4lCJfru)on Amazon and help support my site!

BOOKS

Ned Hallowell MD and John J. Ratley MD, best-selling authors of the seminal books Driven to Distraction and Delivered from Distraction have done it again! These first 2 books were my lifesaver when I first got diagnosed. ADHD 2.0 lies out a revolutionary new approach to ADD/ADHD featuring cutting-edge research and strategies to help readers thrive. Although not an ADHD book. I've included this book because so many of us struggle with our finances. Whether you’re in your sixties or twenties—single, married, rebuilding after a devastating loss, or simply wanting to feel more prepared for the unexpected—this book is for every woman ready to take control of her financial life. Fly! is a call to action: a journey not just about money, but about seizing new opportunities, pursuing your dreams, and living life on your own terms. Steph is a good friend so I can vouch for her and this book. I personally have read it and have used the tools to help me get my finances back on track!
